As the world becomes extremely competitive, inefficiency is becoming increasingly costly to individuals, businesses and nations. However, as a believer you can leave the competition behind by becoming phenomenally creative with the sufficiency of God. This means, when you become totally yielded to the sufficiency of God within you, any inefficiency in your thinking, speech and whatever you do, will be swallowed up by divine sufficiency of God.
2 Corinthians 3:5
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;”
The Greek word translated ‘of’ is the same word that is translated ‘from’, and the word sufficiency also means ‘ability’. The above scripture can thus read, “Not that we are able of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our ability is from God;”
Paul says, “Our ability is from God.” In other words, \”the accomplishments that you see and attribute to us come from God\”. Our efficiency comes from Him. This is amazing. It implies that if we were cut open spiritually, what would be seen is this divine ability that has come from God and now resides in us.
This ability seeks to regulate your thinking, it wants to regulate your mouth; it also wants to regulate your behaviour. When you are totally influenced and dominated by this ability, the world will exclaim, “what manner of man is this (Matthew 8:27; Mark 4:41 & Luke 8:25)?” You will not have competition; you will function in the creative elements of God. Learning to be totally influenced and dominated by the sufficiency of God must become your number one preoccupation.
We can achieve this goal through praying, fasting, studying the Word, and all other forms of spiritual exercises. We should keep pressing on until we come to a point in our spiritual development where God’s sufficiency totally dominates our thinking, beliefs, words, actions, and perspective – our complete view of life.
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”
This scripture reveals that, in whatsoever situation you find yourself, God is able to make ALL GRACE abound towards that you have ALL SUFFIENCY always unto EVERY GOOD work. So if you get to a place and the good work needed is healing, miracle or money, you can abound unto that. Hallelujah!
The Amplified bible version puts it:
‘‘And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]”.
This is the life Jesus brought to humanity. This life is available in God through faith in Jesus Christ. Please take time out and meditate this Word until it becomes spirit and life in you. Work it into every fiber of your soul. Rewire your thinking with the light of this truth. Let it fall from your lips as your persuasion. Let this reality in the spirit become real in your soul until it becomes material reality. This will change your options and influence your choices.
‘And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]”
Make a commitment that 2 Corinthians 9:8 will be true in your life; that poverty, disease and failure will not be your reality. You take a stand in the blood of Jesus against any satanic deceit and onslaught. It’s that serious. The violent take it by force. It doesn’t just happen.
Living the ability of God is not reserved for Pastors, Prophets and Apostles. Every Child of God must function with the consciousness that God is their ability. This is the normal Christian life, not just for Pastors.
We are taking the world for Jesus with this ability and not in the energy of the flesh (1 Samuel 2:9b). We are learning how to turn loose this divine sufficiency inside us. When this ability is unleashed, the whole world will be so influenced and shaped by God that it will be as the days of Heaven on the earth.
Your contemplation should be 2 Corinthians 3:5; “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.”
In Acts 3:12 Peter makes a revealing this statement:
12 ‘And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?’
The ability to do the impossible comes from God and not yourself. Learn to live on God’s ability. God is literally connecting us with omnipotence when we yield to his ability in us.
What are you going to do with God’s ability in you? The days of mediocrity are over. Wake up to the dominion and majesty of God in your spirit. Do not let His ability lie dormant in you. TAKE ACTION! Imagine what God’s ability at work in you will do in business. Imagine what it will do in ministry, at home and in every sphere of your life.
Be strengthened in your spirit and established in this divine ability to rule this earth for God.
