In this final part of the series, we will look at four of the values of the Kingdom which will really make us shine as light of the world and salt of the earth. With all the uncertainties in the world, it is these spiritual values that will stabilize your soul to make you unmovable.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
When we make up our mind to imbibe the culture and values of the Kingdom, we will literally invade this world with the reality of the dominion of God’s realm.
These values are spiritual forces which make the child of God a positive element of blessing in the community, country and the world.
You have to understand that, these forces or values are realities in your born again spirit, the immaterial part of you. You are a triune being; that is, you function in three realms: spirit, soul (intellectual) and physical (body). Therefore, for the realities in your spirit (the real you) to become the realities in your soul and in your body you must transform your soul to mirror who you are in your spirit.
This is where the Word of God becomes indispensable. In the Word is revealed what you have become in your spirit by faith in Christ Jesus. The Word of God captures the realities in your immaterial self; therefore as you brutally immerse yourself in the Word of God, you are transforming in your soul and body to reflect these spiritual forces alive in you.
As you move through the earth empowered by these values (spiritual forces) in you, you will not only become unstoppable, but influential for God among men. Let us quickly go through four of these values of the Kingdom:
Joy
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
1Thessalonnians 5:16 Rejoice evermore
What a difference it will make if we just walk in the light of this Word. Rejoicing is what you do with the joy you have within. Joy enhances your prosperity as it enables you to function in your creative and innovative elements. It is an inoculation against depression. Joy is the atmosphere of divine prosperity.
Peace
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
You have the peace of God in your spirit; the Bible says let it rule and dominate your heart and mind. God want s you to walk in extreme peace. It is operating in such divine assurance that ‘nothing missing, nothing broken’ becomes reality to your heart and mind.
Meekness
Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men
There ought to be a gentleness about you that is recognizable by the world. The Bible talks about showing meekness…which implies this spiritual value has so influenced you, it is obvious to the world.
Faith
2Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
2Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
From the two scriptures above, you will realize that the culture of the Kingdom is to walk by speaking what you believe and not by sight.
I pray that these values will empower and dominate your thinking and actions so much so that you will begin to function as an Ambassador of Christ Jesus. Rule for God!
