There are protocols that must be observed as you embrace the responsibility to subdue the earth through the grace of God upon your life. You have to accept the truth that God is able and determined to do something wonderfully significant with your life in the earth and you have to be willing and compliant to His counsel revealed in His Word. God knows this earth more than any of us, and surely if we follow His counsel, we will subdue it in tandem with His eternal purpose for us.
I will highlight two of the spiritual protocols that will enable you to subdue the earth through the grace of God on your life.
Delight yourself in the LORD
Isaiah 58:14
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Do you see how you will practically become a major player in the earth? God says when you delight yourself in Him, He will cause you…when God becomes your cause your global effects will be undeniably felt. God will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth. Do you believe this? Will you behave it?
It is worthy of note that the Hebrew word translated ‘delight’ in the above scripture also means to be pliable. Allow God and his Word to have free course in your life.
Meekness
Psalm 37:11
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
For God to cause you to dominate any substantial portion of the earth, you must pass the meekness test. Meekness is a spiritual protocol you must appreciate if you must fulfil the purpose of God for your life. It is in your own interest to walk in meekness. Your meekness rating is what determines what you will ultimately manage or rule for God.
As much as meekness is a spiritual virtue it also delivers a certain mindset that makes you teachable.
Psalm 25:9 – … and the meek will he teach his way.
Numbers 12:3
(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men whichwere upon the face of the earth.)
Psalm 103:7 – He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
You become a custodian of the ways of God on the earth. God wants to entrust you with practical solutions for the earth. Work on improving your meekness rating; it holds the key to your relevance on the earth.
